← Technology WikiT33 Post-Carbon Filter (Inline)
A T33 inline post-carbon filter is the final polishing stage — an inline coconut-shell carbon cartridge that removes any residual taste/odor after the RO membrane or storage tank.
How it works
- Inline design: 2-inch diameter tube with 1/4-inch quick-connect ports, mounted after the tank.
- Polishes RO product water that may have picked up taste from the storage tank.
- Coconut-shell GAC is standard for the cleanest taste profile.
- Common size: 10" or 11" length, 2" diameter ("T33" = industry code).

What buyers and QC should check
- A stale-tasting RO system is often just an exhausted T33 — the cheapest fix in the chain.
- For QC: verify quick-connect fittings hold at line pressure; inline filters see full tank pressure.

How do I know the T33 needs replacing?
Taste. When polished RO water starts tasting flat or stale, the T33 is exhausted — typically at 12 months.
